Xiang Yuzhang, the former Chief Inspector of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China and the Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, delivered the opening speech. He emphasized, "We should take the law as the guideline and transform the September 18th Incident, a day of national humiliation, into a day of patriotic action where the whole nation is united in heart and determined to strive." Subsequently, Zhang Meiying, the Vice-Chairperson of the 10th and 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), announced the official launch of the "September 18th National Patriotic Action Day". The leaders on-site and the representatives of patriotic action volunteers jointly pressed the launch screen, marking the official start of a new journey of national patriotic action. During the event, guests such as Mao Xiaoqing, the inheritor of red culture and niece of Chairman Mao, Cheng Lu, the former Vice-Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and He Keng, the Standing Committee Member of the 10th and 11th National People's Congress (NPC), successively took the stage to deliver speeches, profoundly explaining the connotation and practical path of patriotic actions in the new era from the dimensions of red culture inheritance, the responsibility of the private economy, and patriotic education. Li Xiaolin, a deputy to the 13th NPC and a well-known philanthropist, shared the experience of the enterprise fulfilling its social responsibilities and serving the country through industry as a representative of "excellent patriotic entrepreneurs", triggering a full-house resonance.
