Road Transport Manager

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for formulating cargo transportation plans, rationally allocating resources such as vehicles and drivers, optimizing transport routes, and ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of goods according to order requirements.

2. Monitor transportation dynamics, coordinate the resolution of issues such as loading/unloading abnormalities, vehicle breakdowns, and traffic delays, oversee cargo safety, and provide timely updates on transport progress to clients and internal teams.

3. Liaise with the driver team, verify vehicle documents, insurance, and condition, communicate safety regulations and transport requirements, and assist in handling driver attendance, task assignments, and emergencies.

4. Organize transport documents, expense details, and other records, compile data on transport efficiency and costs, and ensure compliance with traffic regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

5. Bridge client needs, warehouse operations, and logistics suppliers, coordinate multi-party resources to resolve transport coordination issues, maintain strong partnerships, and enhance transport efficiency.


Qualifications:

1. Possesses a professional background in logistics management, transportation, or related fields, or has over 3 years of experience in road transport or cargo dispatch, with familiarity in transport workflows and industry standards. Candidates with work experience will be prioritized.

2. Must hold a C1 or higher motor vehicle driver’s license, possess proficient driving skills (some roles may require accompanying vehicles or short-distance driving), and have no record of major traffic violations.

3. Requires strong communication skills to efficiently coordinate with clients, warehouses, and internal teams on matters such as cargo allocation, vehicle scheduling, route planning, and port operations, while effectively resolving transport emergencies.

4. Familiar with road traffic safety regulations, transport industry policies, and cargo packaging, warehousing, and transport safety standards, with risk assessment capabilities to ensure compliance and accident-free operations.

5. Adaptable to irregular working hours (e.g., handling urgent transport demands), resilient under pressure, detail-oriented, and committed to timeliness and cost control to guarantee on-time and intact deliveries.
